the audacity of hoping for an A

hey,

Obama Wins! Sen. Obama's win should be an example for people everywhere. What hard work, determination and will power can get you. Here is a man with many socioeconomic factors working against him, yet triumphed over the political machine built nearly 19 years ago by Bill Clinton and carried on by his wife Sen.Hillary Clinton, and to keep his own and keep is cool in a hard fought campaign against a United States war hero is something that should be applauded by partisans of all sides and ideologies. 4 years ago when then Illinos State Senator Obama delieved his keynote speech to John Kerrys convention, I said to myself and those around me that "this man will be president one day". Well that day has come, and the time for a progressive majority moving forward has come.

This goes without mention of what this says to Natives in the country. Decipher that as you will, Im in ethics class and should be studying for this test.

me and kacy

incase ya'll were wondering how i look,or kacy...heres a pic

lawman has put an end to my run

Yo, whats up? Here I am, 19...ready to leave home again . I've been staying here since Febuary...7 months...7 months too long I say. I have a sister, Michelle, who has a daughter, Kacy(one and a half yrs) who is getting a place to stay in bemidji. Thats where im heading, and I aint comin back! I enjoy staying in Red Lake with my family, but for an academic such as myself there is really nothing. I cant snort pills, burns my nose and head. I cant drink, makes me sick to my stomach, so my redlake career is all about over. Perhaps one day when I make all the money to be made I'll return to spend my days. Untill then, I'm running scared andI aint gonna stop.

Graduation!

Yo, I'm going to graduate in a few months.

I've been awaiting the moment of graduation since I was 14 years old, and it's now only a few months away. Angsty? You betcha!

I've informed the parents I will not partake in the consumption of alcohol during my party for the following reasons:

  1. Drama
  2. Fights
  3. Puke
  4. Divorces
  5. Crying drags
Maybe I'm too pessimistic? But,nothing good has ever come out of drinking. The times i've tried it I went to bed feeling stupid and crappy, and woke up feeling stupid and crappy. I fear I may be obligated to drink, because my party will be held in conjunction with Tom Barret's party, and Cartera Harts. Meh, We'll see once may comes

Jim Sr said it best the other day when I had informed him of my decision to stay sober by saying "That type of life is disgusting." Did I word that correctly?

If you would like to come to my graduation party, just come. I'm not sure where it will be held yet but I'll be sure to post the location, time ect. It will be fun.

I'm going to college to become a High school teacher. I'm going to teach Highschool English..or else I'll go to college to be a video game designer. Only two things I've ever had interest in. When I tell people my plans, they laugh. Surely you can do something that will pay alot more, they ask. The Answer is yes, and also no. The way I see it is, working for money is the same as working for payment by way of knowning you're influencing the next generation of Tribal Leaders..and to me..the fact that you're changing the future byfar outweighs the monitary reward of another profession. Commie? Maybe. Stupid? Probably. Happy? Very. Content? Without one doubt in my mind.

Buck has been chairman for a little over two months now. I feel he has earned his right to prove himself as a leader. Ok....go!

Anyone remember the RLNN forum? It is where I recieved most of my recognition as a writer. As I wrote more and more, the forum disabled the part of my posts that displayed my blog website and URL. Coincidence? I doubt it. ..I'm on to you Red Lake Nation Government..I'm on to you! All joking aside, I've been thinking about opening my own Tribal Forum, for gossip purposes of course. The women at Family and Childern Services need something to talk about during the day, and who better to give them something than me?!

I'm too lazy to spell check, so fuck you grammer police,I have school in the morning and I want some eggs.
If I have offended you in anyway, please go cry in a corner. I've tried so hard to not get my family members fired and blacklisted, even censoring my own thoughts. If you have a complaint, please do not hesitate to email me at tard.james@gmail.com. If you dont like what I have to say then by all means, hit the little red "X" at the top righthand corner. The US constitution(which the tribal government tells me does not take effect in redlake, but thats a whole differnt story) garuntees basic freedoms, but there is one undocumented freedom, that is often taken for granted, toyed with my the media, and fucked with by advertising, and that is freedom of thought.

Ciao.

School+Work+Computergames = No time for Mr.Bloggy

Hello, anyone still there? Great. I knew you'd never abandon me as I have all but abandoned my blog. I've been so caught up in this living healthy, good grades, working hard bullshit that I haven't had time to write down my thoughts. But now that Warrior Down is officially over, I have some time in the evenings to write, read and listen to music.

First off, I dislike republicans. Secondly, I dislike religion pushers and religious fanatics. Yanno, the kind that blow them selves up in busses, or condemn you to hell if you do not attend church and listen to another man pray for you. Now that I got that off of my chest, I'd like to welcome you back to what should(hopefully) be an interesting time in my life. I am 4 credits away from graduation from highschool, working harder than ever, making new friends, being active in the community and being a big brother again. Now that I have my life in order I'd like to get back to posting regularly. I'll still post my political rhetoric, possibly some of my writings, my ideas for world peace, my ideas for tribal unity, my ideas on drug use and other things I preach to my friends about in school.

Meh, new tribal government. Nothing spectacular, all going as expected sofar, and how did I expect it to go? Thanks for asking!
Campaign hard/Make Promises/ Do nothing to help the populace/Rinse and repeat.
Feuern Sie mich! As of now, I announce my candidacy in the 2018 chairmanship election. It's official folks, I'm running. Over the next twelve(12) years I will be campaigning hard everyday, shaking babies, kissing hands(isn't it the other way around?) and building a strong base of support among people my age.

I will then be 29 year old man, with two college degrees and about 9 kids. So, if you would like a job in the King camp, let me know. There is a lot of work to be done in our fight against nepotism, drug abuse, the invasion of street gangs, racism(at home and abroad), and other threats to our sovereign status. Email me at tard.james@gmail.com if you're interested in defeating tribal fascism, and working on my campaign. I'd love to hear your comments, whether they be negative or positive, if you want to say "Go fuck yourself King" or "right on,brother!" I really want to hear em.

If you are a celebrity,or other famous(tribal are foreign) that wishes to endorse me, email me also!

Being a senior in highschool isn't what it's made up to be. I have something like..4 months left till I graduate from highschool(forever!) thus freeing me to ride snowmobile all day, icefishing without a care in the world till I start college. I'm not fully sure on what to do in college. Political Science is certain, but I also want to teach Highschool English. Not the grammar type English, something a bit more thought invoking such as a literature class. The new craze around the reservation among us progressive types is aspiring to be highschool teachers, which is totally awesome because people at my current age will see an example of the famous quote "You must be the change you wish to see in the world." - Mahatma Gandhi. Words to live by,yes indeed.

My little brother is 16 months old now, into everything he can get his hands on. Spilling soda on my carpet, trying to kill the bird, hitting my mom with solid objects. It's fun to see him grow up, makes me want kids later in life.

If you are from the tribal government, feel free to take any of my ideas and make them your own. If I figure out how to solve the crack/meth problem, take em and run with it. I'll be posting my ideas about it in the next two weeks, so stay tuned!

Hey James, get off of your high horse! You do drugs just as much as anyone else! I received an email saying that a few weeks back, and I could only respond with " working at warrior down for 8 months, a chemical health program mind you, proves you wrong. If you would like the full email, let me know and I'll get you a copy.

I applied for Americorps, was accepted, but after much consideration I've since chose to decline the job offer. Returning to the Nursing Home for my last year as a highschool student will hopefully teach me to humble, patient, accepting and ready for anything. I know for sure I'll learn much more working there(again) than I will working for any other program.

I sure am glad that I posted tonight, I hope someone reads it. lol
